Margaret Fulton Memorial Service
The family of the late Margaret Fulton OAM has praised DPC’s Partnerships and Engagement teams following last Monday’s State Memorial at the Art Gallery of NSW, saying they couldn’t believe how special the service was. Flags flew half-mast on government buildings and the Harbour Bridge for the day.

One of Ms Fulton’s two granddaughters who spoke at the memorial sent a lovely message to DPC Protocol saying, “It’s a shame the service couldn’t have been offered earlier so she could have attended herself! She would have loved it!”.
Friends, family, foodies and the public joined together at the Art Gallery of NSW in remembrance of Australia's first domestic goddess, who died in July aged 94. The service, conducted by former broadcaster Mike Carlton, was full of wonderful, cheeky stories of Ms Fulton’s life – and included a bagpiper to honour her Scottish heritage. A truly special occasion.
