Emma Hogan has been named the NSW Public Service Commissioner.

Public Service Commissioner Emma Hogan

Emma Hogan comes to one of the NSW public sector’s most influential roles from almost two decades leading people divisions in high-profile Australian corporations, including Foxtel, Qantas and Woolworths.

Ms Hogan will build on the innovative work undertaken by NSW’s inaugural Public Service Commissioner, Graeme Head, who finished his term in January 2018.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian said the appointment of Ms Hogan showed the NSW Government was focused on lifting standards and improving outcomes.

“Our government’s vision is for the NSW public sector to be known as people focused and engaged, with a dynamic culture that delivers high quality services and infrastructure throughout the State,” Ms Berejiklian said.
