NSW State Flag and Emblems
A nation's flag is an emblem which represents its people, its history and its ideals. There are other flags besides national ones. New South Wales and all of the other States and
Territories each have their own distinctive flag. The Government promotes the flying of both the National and the New South Wales flags and encourages everyone, especially young people, to become familiar with the protocols for the correct use of these flags.
