Our work

Our people undertake challenging and rewarding work across metropolitan and regional NSW.

We support the Premier, Cabinet, Ministers, and other government agencies by coordinating policies and services across the public sector.

We lead policy development and act as a centre of innovation and support for overarching Government plans and projects.

We also organise various state events including Australia Day, Anzac Day, Remembrance Day, state funerals, Mardi Gras and more. DPC will also be involved in World Pride 2023.

  • Jawun Secondment Program
    A six-week secondment with partner Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander partner in urban and rural communities.
  • NSW Leadership Academy
    The Leadership Academy delivers trusted leadership development programs that transform the individual and their teams to deliver benefits for the people of NSW.
  • NSW Government Graduate Program
    A cross-sector graduate program offering 18 months’ experience across various NSW government agencies and a formal qualification.
  • Internship Programs
    Internship placements through CareerTrackers Indigenous Internships and the Australian Network on Disability Stepping Into program.

DPC is proud to partner with Grace Papers, a career coaching platform designed to empower and support working parents and carers.

Our staff have unlimited access to a range of engaging programs, articles, and activities, designed to support you at each stage of your parenting or caring journey.

Birth mothers and parents who have primary caring responsibility can take up to 14 weeks of paid parental leave – regardless of gender.
