Women

Principles

The NSW Government is committed to working in partnerships with the community and using the resources and powers of Government to help improve the position of women and achieve social justice.

It continues to build on the achievements of the past 10 years in removing obstacles to women's full participation in society. Age, race, ethnicity, location and social and economic circumstances all affect women's needs and options.

The NSW Government is committed to:

  • focussing on early intervention and prevention
  • making services more accessible and responsive.
