Personnel Handbook
The Personnel Handbook is compiled from legislation, awards, agreements, determinations and policy guidelines relating to conditions of employment in the NSW Public Service. The Handbook does not seek to replace these documents, but to draw their principal provisions together into a single reference source.
Substantial updates were made to the Handbook in September 2005. Since then chapters are regularly updated to refer to circulars as they are released. Where more significant changes are made, this is noted in the introduction to the chapter. Updates will be made as issues arise without formal notification. Existing hard copies should no longer be used.
Chapter 6 has been substantially updated (December 2006)
