Pilot Finance Career Mobility Program
The Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) is currently running a program across NSW public sector agencies called the Pilot Finance Career Mobility Program. This program is designed for mid-career finance and accounting professionals.
The initiative is piloting six month finance and accounting temporary assignments within or across agencies and includes structured professional development and training and coaching opportunities. Twelve mid-career finance and accounting employees (from grades Clerk 5/6 and 7/8 or in the equivalent salary range $61,128 to $76,896) are participating in the pilot program; 50% of program positions have been targeted for women.
The DPC is committed to developing and delivering the program and, as a result, is meeting all costs associated with the pilot design, delivery and management of the program, including learning and development. Agencies are required to continue to pay their staff at grade whilst on temporary assignment.
