Making it Our Business (MIOB) Online Survey

DPC is reviewing progress in the implementation of ‘Making it Our Business’ (MIOB) – the Sector’s strategic framework to improving Aboriginal Employment in the NSW Public Sector.

The Public Sector Workforce Office, DPC and the Department of Aboriginal Affairs have developed an on-line survey designed to capture progress in the five key result areas of MIOB:

• Recruitment
• Skills Acquisition & Career Development
• Retention
• Cultural Education, and
• Community Engagement

The survey seeks to gain an overview of the successful initiatives currently being undertaken by agencies, in the area of Aboriginal employment.  It also offers agencies the opportunity to provide feedback on areas of MIOB that have not worked well and therefore may require amendment.
