Young Professionals Network

The DPC Young Professionals Network helps staff under 35 to make friends and cross divisional connections, exchange ideas and organisational knowledge and be proactive about their professional development.

DPC supports the Network by hosting two young professionals breakfasts annually. The Director General also hosts a table for young professional at the annual IPAA Young Professionals breakfast.

The Young Professionals Network is supported a Committee whose purpose is to:

1. Support the needs and interests of younger staff at DPC.
2. Enable two-way communication with senior management on matters relating to the professional needs and interests of younger staff.
3. Facilitate and guide the ongoing development and implementation of the DPC Young Professionals Network.
4. Facilitate and support the development of networks between DPC young professionals and other agencies.
5. Provide opportunities for younger staff at DPC to be proactive in their professional development.
6. Enable exchange of ideas and organisational knowledge within DPC.
7. Enhance DPCs standing as an attractive and supportive workplace for younger
8. staff.
