Sector Workforce Information Management System (SWIMS)

The Sector Workforce Information Management System (SWIMS) is a human resource information collection, validation and reporting system  developed by the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet.

SWIMS is being developed in three streams. Stream 1  is a data collection tool that allows agencies to submit and validate their workforce data. Streams 2 and 3 will create a data warehouse for improved analysis and reporting.

Stream 1  was implemented for the 2009 Annual Workforce Profile Collection,  with agencies  submitting data using a newly developed Template.

The Q3 2009 Annual Workforce Profile Collection closed on 22 October 2009.

Submissions
