The right people at the right time and in the right place

In August 2004 the Premier's Department released the NSW Strategic Workforce Planning Framework and Action Plan 2004-2007. 

The Framework is underpinned by the Government's priorities to provide high quality services to the community.  This requires ensuring that the public sector has the right number and mix of people, with the necessary skills to carry out its many and diverse responsibilities. The Framework and Action Plan is designed to assist planning at a sector-wide, cluster and agency level.
