Redeployment Job Matching

At the centre of the redeployment process is the agency jobs.nsw website (www.agency.jobs.nsw.gov.au) which is administered by Communications and Advertising, Department of Commerce. Agency case managers must be registered with Communications and Advertising to access the online system.

The job matching system allows agency case managers to identify their displaced employees to suitable positions one week before they are advertised in the Public Sector Notices and on the public domain.

The RRU reviews all identified positions before displaced employees are matched in the system. Approved matches enable the displaced employee to be priority assessed for the position and if successful can lead to redeployment or a trial placement.

To be considered for sector-wide redeployment, displaced employees must be centrally registered with the RRU.
