Redeployment

The redeployment role of the Recruitment and Redeployment Unit (RRU), Public Sector Workforce Office, is to:

provide strategic advice and support to agencies, displaced employees, Ministers and the Premier on the management of staff affected by organisational change
provide guidance to agencies on the online-matching system and the priority assessment process for redeploying displaced employees
provide strategic advice and support to agencies undergoing organisational change, including the development of restructuring plans
provide relevant statistics and reports to Ministers, the Premier and the Director-General, DPC.
coordinate projects relating to the management of displaced employees
develop policy regarding the management of displaced employees.
