Honours and Awards
There are a number of Meritorious awards for Public Servants;
- Public Service Medal (PSM)
- Australian Police Medal (APM)
- Australian Fire Service Medal (AFSM)
- Ambulance Service Medal (ASM)
- Emergency Services Medal (ESM)
- Australian Antarctic Medal (AAM)

The Premier's Public Sector Awards
The Premier's Public Sector Awards, presented since 1997, formally recognise and reward achievements of excellence within the New South Wales Public Sector. See the Premier's Public Sector Awards website.
The NSW Service Medallion
This award is presented to public servants who have worked for forty or more years in service to the people of NSW.

The Premier's Emergency Award
This award is given to a unit and individual member of a peak emergency organisation for outstanding service to the community.
