Code of Conduct
Public sector employees must conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner at all times. The NSW Government has established a range of legislative provisions and policies to ensure that employees and agencies comply with the highest standards of performance, conduct and ethical accountability.

Public Service Groups
The Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002, Part 2.7 includes provisions for the management of conduct and performance - definitions, dealing with misconduct, procedural guidelines, allegations of misconduct, unsatisfactory performance, disciplinary action, suspension of officers, dismissal of senior executive officers, retiring or resigning before disciplinary action.
The Personnel Handbook Chapter 9 Management of Conduct and Performance outlines the process for managing conduct and performance for officers.
