Work Based Projects: 2004-2008

Work Based Projects are an integral part of the Department of Premier and Cabinet’s suite of management and leadership programs.

They highlight the practical application of knowledge and skills developed in a program to real-life challenges within Government.

The following programs require the completion of a work based project:

• Executive Development Program
• Graduate Diploma in Public Administration
• Executive Masters of Public Administration

The projects range in complexity and cover a broad range of issues. Each program has guidelines which facilitate participants through the project development, from the initial concept stage, to the composition of the project team and representation of jurisdictions through to the submission of the final report.

You can view the Work Based Project database by selecting either topic or program. Each item will include a short synopsis and a project contact. If you would like to access a copy of the final report, please email the project team contact.

Note: The project team contact will determine how to handle requests for further information of the work based project. They may determine that an informal discussion or the circulation of the full report is the most appropriate method given the confidential nature of the material or the quality of the results. Access to projects may be subject to the decisions of ethics committees governing research*. Project teams maintain their rights to intellectual property associated with the work based project.
