TAFE Public Sector Training

The Department of Premier and Cabinet and TAFE NSW have developed an across Government approach to the provision of vocational education and training with the aim of improving public sector capacity to readily address training needs. Key objectives are to:

  • extend the range of readily available training for core skills
  • create economies of scale for the NSW public sector
  • enhance the capabilities of public sector employees
  • provide opportunities for multi-agency participation across all regions of NSW that facilitate information exchange about agency practice.

JumpSTART Cadetship workshops

A range of workshops are offered as part of the NSW Public Sector Cadetship Program, JumpSTART.

Courses can be delivered on site at your workplace or at a TAFE NSW campus in Sydney or regional areas. Additional study to gain part or full qualifications is possible in most cases. Fees are met by agencies.
