Public Sector Training - Vocational Education and Training
The Department of Premier and Cabinet and TAFE NSW have developed an across Government approach to the provision of vocational education and training. The Public Sector Training offers readily available skills-based training that will:
- Increase knowledge and skills relevant to public sector business
- Enhance core capabilities of public sector employees
- Provide greater understanding of public sector processes
- Improve workforce capacity
- Provide networking opportunities and multi-agency participation across all regions of NSW and facilitate information sharing about sector practices
The following courses are offered as one or two day workshops, with optional assessment for part or full qualifications:

- Managing Frontline Service Delivery
- Managers as Leaders
- Project Management
- Customer Service
- Coaching and Mentoring
- Effective Communication in the workplace
- Fundamentals for Public Sector Staff
- Aboriginal Cultural Education
