Executive Development Program

The Executive Development Program is a short course of approximately 10 days over 6 months. Three modules are delivered by Bendelta on behalf of the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

This course is structured around the updated NSW Executive Capabilities and focuses on building the leadership skills and behaviours of senior managers. The modules cover leading self, leading others and leading in the public sector. A work based research project and capability assessment and personal development planning for each participant are included in the program.

Classes are held in the Sydney central business district.

The target group is high potential employees at Grade 11/12 and above (or equivalent) from State government organisations.

The annual application process takes places from approximately May to July each year, coordinated by public sector agencies and funded by the Department of Premier and Cabinet and individual agencies. Additional applications will be accepted from July to February if vacancies exist - contact courses@dpc.nsw.gov.au to check availability.
