Application process for centrally funded courses

The Department of Premier and Cabinet funds places in three courses:

Executive Master of Public Administration

The Executive Master of Public Administration is a two year part-time post graduate degree. Ten subjects are delivered by the Australia and New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG) and participating universities.

Graduate Diploma in Public Administration

The Graduate Diploma in Public Administration is an eighteen months part-time post graduate qualification. Six units are delivered by the Graduate School of Government at the University of Sydney.

NSW Executive Development Program

The Executive Development Program is a short course of approximately 10 days over 6 months. Three modules are delivered by an external course provider on behalf of the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

Agencies wishing to fund additional places for the Executive Development Program can do so by emailing courses@dpc.nsw.gov.au up until February 2012.

Agencies can fund additional places in the Executive Development Program and Graduate Diploma.

The annual application process takes place from approximately May to July each year. The selection and prioritisation of individual applicants is the responsibility of each agency. The Department of Premier and Cabinet allocates places to agencies.

The target group for all courses is high potential employees at Grade 11/12 and above (or equivalent).
