Performance Management
A performance management system is seen as an important means to improve the productivity, efficiency and effectiveness of a public sector agency.
The Performance Management Policy and Guidelines (D1998_009) outline the NSW Government’s underlying principles and minimum standards for performance management in agencies.
Mentoring Made Easy (G2004_002) also outlines how a mentoring program can be an effective strategy to contribute significantly to the career development of employees. It provides a cost-effective work-based learning strategy to achieve career development outcomes for individual employees.
