Equitable services are those that are provided in ways that treat customers impartially, fairly and without bias irrespective of their background or circumstances. 

To be equitable, services may need to be provided in different ways so they can meet customer needs depending on the customer’s gender, age, socio-economic background, ethnicity, English language proficiency, Aboriginality, and level of disability.
