How to Register

If you wish to lodge an application to be registered on the Register of Lobbyists, please fill out the Online Form below. If you are already registered and wish to change your details, please go to the "Changes in Lobbyists' Details" tab on the left of this page.

Before completing the Online Form, please read the Lobbyist Code of Conduct. Instructions for completing the form can be downloaded here.

Please be advised that partially completed Online Forms cannot be saved at the current time. This function will be available as soon as possible. In the meantime, if you wish to use the Online Form below, you will need to ensure that you have all of the information required to complete your application, including statutory declarations, before you begin.

Alternatively, you may print out a Manual Application Form. Once you have signed the form, please scan a copy and email it along with the required statutory declaration(s) to nswlobbyistsregister@dpc.nsw.gov.au. Manual Application Forms can also be submitted by post to Register of Lobbyists, Department of Premier and Cabinet, GPO Box 5341, Sydney NSW 2001, or by fax to (02) 9228 5542.

Employee Details

The Lobbyist Code of Conduct provides that all persons employed, contracted or otherwise engaged by the Lobbyist to carry out lobbying activities, including sole traders, must complete a statutory declaration in the prescribed form. If you are a lobbyist who is an individual with no staff:
I have read and agree to comply with my obligations under the Lobbyist Code of Conduct.
I understand that if I contravene any of the terms of the Lobbyist Code of Conduct or if the Director General of the Department of Premier and Cabinet is of the opinion that any of the matters referred to in clause 8.2 has occurred, it may result in my listing being removed from the Register of Lobbyists.
If the lobbyist is an individual with staff or the lobbyist is an organisation:
The lobbyist and the lobbyist’s employee(s), contractor(s) and person(s) otherwise engaged by the lobbyist to carry out lobbying activities have read and agree to comply with their obligations under the Lobbyist Code of Conduct.
The lobbyist and the lobbyist’s employee(s), contractor(s) and person(s) otherwise engaged by the lobbyist to carry out lobbying activities understand that if the lobbyist, employee, contractor or person contravenes any of the terms of the Lobbyist Code of Conduct or if the Director General of the Department of Premier and Cabinet is of the opinion that any of the matters referred to in clause 8.2 has occurred, it may result in the lobbyist, or employee, contractor or person being removed from the Register of Lobbyists.
