The e-Recruitment solution

e-Recruitment is a streamlined and cost effective service to manage end to end recruitment for Australia’s largest employer NSW Government.

A centrepiece of ongoing public sector reform e-Recruitment aims to find the best people for the job in the least amount of time. This will lead to greater efficiency and savings across the public sector.

NSW Government underwent an extensive and comprehensive tender evaluation process, done in accordance with the State Contracts Control Board regulations, to ensure the most appropriate product was selected for the e-Recruitment system.

Taleo Corporation has been appointed to provide the e-Recruitment system for NSW Government. Taleo has a proven track record in providing e-Recruitment systems to organisations of the size and complexity of NSW Government.

With more than 300,000 casual, part and fulltime workers as well as apprentices and trainees in jobs ranging from agriculture to health, teaching to law, administration to environmental management, engineering to policing work for the state government, the NSW Government is Australia’s largest employer.

The electronic-based system will cover the full recruitment process from the identification of a vacancy through to the appointment of the successful candidate. Importantly, its aim is to find the best candidate for the job in the least amount of time.

The new e-Recruitment job search website is scheduled to be fully operational in October 2009 with a fresh new look and feel and will modernise the way people find jobs in NSW Government.
