Panel of Constitutional Experts - Review into Recall Elections

As part of the 100 Day Action Plan, the NSW Government established a Panel of Constitutional Experts to provide advice on the potential for a recall procedure to allow early State elections based on a petition by voters (Recall Elections).

The members of the Panel are Mr David Jackson AM QC (Chair), Professor George Williams AO and Dr Elaine Thompson. More information on the Panel members is available here.

The terms of reference require the Panel to consider and report to the Premier by 30 September 2011 in relation to Recall Elections.
