Community War Memorials Fund
The NSW Government has established the Community War Memorials Fund to help protect and restore war memorials across NSW.
Grants will be considered by a State War Memorials Committee, which will assess applications and announce grant recipients twice a year – around ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day.
The Committee members are:
- Ms Tanya Gadiel MP, NSW Parliamentary Secretary for Community and Veterans’ Affairs (chair)
- Mr Don Rowe, President of the NSW RSL
- Councillor Bruce Miller, President of the NSW Shires Association
- Mr Bruce Pettman, Principal Heritage Architect, NSW Government Architect’s Office
The inaugural round of applications will close on September 30, 2008.
