Administrative requirements includes DPC Memoranda and Circulars
The Government regularly issues guidance and directions to support government sector performance – collectively termed 'Administrative Requirements'. These include statutory and conventional directions such as Premier's Memoranda, Treasurer's Directions and Departmental Circulars, among others. Topics include government sector employment matters, procurement of goods and services by agencies, records management, financial management policy and reporting, industrial relations, and shared services.
Department of Premier and Cabinet announcements are published as Ministerial Memoranda and Department Circulars. A Memorandum is issued by the Premier to all Ministers to communicate whole of Government administrative policies. Department of Premier and Cabinet Circulars may also contain whole-of-Government policy announcements, relating mainly to the management and administration of the NSW Public Sector.
