Office of General Counsel
The Office of General Counsel provides legal, governance and procedural advice and support to the Premier and DPC, including managing responses to GIPA requests and giving effect to administrative and machinery of government changes.
It manages and advises on legal policy, develops the Premier’s and whole-of-government priority legislation, and manages the passage of the Government’s legislative agenda.
Litigation and external legal services (other than IR/HR) are also managed by the Office of General Counsel.
