Government
The Government Group provides Department’s various corporate, governance and whole-of-government support and coordination functions. This includes HR, IT and finance support to DPC and, as needed, to Ministers and the Department cluster.
The Group incorporates the Government’s strategic IR capability, ministerial and parliamentary services, briefings and correspondence, and whole-of-government communications and advertising functions. Its responsibilities include the coordination and delivery of major events, the Office of the Governor and the provision of protocol support.
The Department is currently undergoing a reorganisation. While the overarching structure has been determined, the structure at the next level is still being configured.
